Mission Statement:

The Uniform Division of the Sheriff's Department is Supervised by
Lieutenant Robert Kirk (269) 657-2006 Ext. 3851). The Uniform Division
consists of 28 Deputies, including 4 Sergeants, who perform normal road
patrol duties. Deputies patrol 632 square miles within Van Buren County.
Five Deputies operate out of a Satellite Office in Bangor located in the
northwest portion of the County. The Sheriff's Office also contracts
Deputies to Keeler, Geneva, Columbia, Antwerp, Hamilton and Decatur
Townships, the City of Gobles, and the Village of Lawrence. Sheriff's
Deputies attend Township meetings within the County.
