Mission Statement: TO PROVIDE CLERICAL SUPPORT TO THE STAFF OF THE VAN BUREN COUNTY SHERIFF'S OFFICE AND SERVE THE CITIZENS OF VAN BUREN COUNTY WITH PROFESSIONALISM, INTEGRITY AND CONFIDENTIALITY. The Support Staff is under the direction of Administrative Secretary Ruth Small (269-657-2006 Ext. 201). The support staff is comprised of 8 secretaries. The secretaries are responsible for transcribing reports, preparing reports for review by the Prosecutor's Office, filing of reports, documents, updating office policy, administrative reports, billing, the processing of claims, and many other necessary tasks. The Support Staff is a very vital function in the operation of the Sheriff's Office and assists in numerous other functions and tasks as needed.
