The runaway
was located in Allegan City by Allegan Police Department.

her grandparents residence located in the 07000 block of 38 ½ street Gobles
Michigan.
Runaway-missing information: Andrea
Sue Myers, a white female, 14 years of age. Approximately 5’1 feet tall and
weight around 150 pounds. She has brown shoulder length hair and Blue eyes. She
was last seen wearing a gray sweatshirt and light blue jeans.
Information:
Sheriff Dale R. Gribler reports that Van Buren county sheriff deputies are
asking for assistance in locating 14 year old Andrea Sue Myers, a white female,
from the Gobles area.
Myers grandparents advised officer that Andrea Myers
had left their home located in the 07000 block of 38 1/2 Street on September 28,
2010 at approximately 3:40 p.m. on her bicycle. Myers left due to being upset with
family members and hasn’t been seen or heard from since. Family members
reported this incident to officers as a runaway due to the circumstances to her
leaving that day. Since this time, no family members have seen or heard from her
since.
Law enforcement officers have checked locations given
as to her possible whereabouts, but have been unsuccessful in locating her at
this time. Tips received have been provided to Andrea possibly in the Kalamazoo
or Otsego area.

50 year old female out of Bloomingdale.
Vehicle: 1996 Chrysler
passenger car.
Injuries: Cuts to the
legs and arms.
Hospital:
Allegan.
Seat Belts: Yes.
Information:
Sheriff Dale R Gribler reports that Deputies were dispatched to a personal
injury crash west of Gobles on CR 388.
Dispatch advised that they had the Gobles Pine Grove
Twp. Fire Department in route also because there were power lines down and a
fire.
When Deputies arrived to investigate the crash, Connie
advised that she was westbound on CR 388 and the front tires started to vibrate,
she lost control crossing the center line, running off the roadway,
hitting a rock which caused her car to flip over then hitting and breaking a
power pole. The fire started about 75 feet from the car and was cause by the
down power line which was put out by the Fire Department. Speed is not believed
to be a factor.
Connie was taken to the Hospital by Coloma Ambulance.
The power company, AEP, came to the scene, repaired the power lines, and removed
the power pole.

citation for disregarding a stop sign.
Narrative:
Sheriff Dale R. Gribler reports that on Saturday 07-10-10 at
1:24 p.m., Deputies responded to a report of a 2 vehicle personal injury crash
at the Main Four corners of Gobles.
Deputies investigated and determined that a blue Volvo Station wagon,
driven by 51 year old Julie Lee of Denver, Colorado, was westbound on Van Buren,
and failed to stop for the stop sign at State St (M-40 hwy). The Volvo struck a
southbound Chevy Lumina Van, driven by 61 year old Victoria Tye of Gobles, on
the driver's side of the Lumina. The Lumina briefly flipped onto its right
side, then back onto its wheels coming to a stop.
The two occupants of the Lumina were transported to Lakeview Hospital in
Paw Paw, where they were treated and released with only minor scrapes and
bruises. The driver and passenger of the Volvo were not injured.
Status:
This incident is closed.

Suspect
Information: 49 yr old
male from
Gobles area. Name to be released pending arraignment.
Description:
While on patrol in the City of Gobles, Deputies made a traffic stop on a
Dodge Van for a vehicle violation.
Upon further investigation the driver was
found to be in possession of 2.3 grams of methamphetamine, as well as
having a Methamphetamine Lab in the rear cargo area of the van. The driver
was lodged at the Van Buren County Jail.
The meth lab was disposed of with
assistance of Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA).
The
investigation is currently open.

55 year old Male from Gobles for Felonious Assault. Name held pending

Victim Information:
Approx. 50 year old male from Gobles. Name withheld at this time.
Alcohol:
Both individuals were intoxicated at the time of the incident.
Weapon:
12 inch Chef's Knife.
Injuries:
The victim received a laceration to his left hand and a stab wound to the
right side of his abdomen.
Information:
Sheriff Dale R. Gribler is reporting
officers
were
dispatched to 112 South State St., in the City of Gobles, for a stabbing that
occurred.
Upon arrival, contact was made with the suspect in the
driveway who stated he was the individual who stabbed his roommate. At this
time the individual was placed into custody by responding deputies.
Upon entry into the residence, reporting officer could
hear an individual calling for help from upstairs. Reporting officer
immediately ran upstairs where he found a man lying on the floor with blood
surrounding him. Deputies,
along with Coloma EMS and members of the Gobles Pine Grove Fire Department,
secured the victim. Coloma EMS transported him to Bronson Methodist
Hospital in Kalamazoo for treatment.
The suspect claimed that, due to past assaultive
behavior from the victim, he felt that he needed the knife to protect himself
from further assaults. The suspect claimed that as he was being assaulted on
this night he cut the victim's hand and the victim continued to assault him, at
which time he proceeded to stab him in the abdomen. Once the victim was stabbed
the assault stopped.

Information: Sheriff
Dale R Gribler reports a personal injury crash in the City of Gobles.
Deputies
were dispatched to the crash at the intersection of State and Van Buren Streets and found the 2 vehicles involved
on the north-east corner of the intersection. The White GMC Pickup was sitting
facing west with its passenger side against a block building on that corner.
The red Dodge Daytona was sitting on its roof facing west and in-between the
truck and a utility pole.
Investigation and statements by witnesses determined that the white GMC pickup
had been northbound on State Street and was proceeding into the intersection
and had the right of way. The red Dodge Daytona was eastbound on Van Buren
Street and came to a stop sign for eastbound traffic. The Dodge Daytona was
proceeding at a high rate of speed and, for unknown reasons, did not slow or stop
for the stop sign. The
Dodge Daytona proceeded into the intersection and into the path of The GMC
Pickup. The GMC Pickup impacted into the passenger side of the vehicle, both
vehicles spun around and went up onto the curb.
The
Dodge Daytona's front end dug into the dirt between the sidewalk and curb and
due to the high speed the Dodge Daytona was traveling it flipped end over end
coming to rest between the GMC Truck and the utility pole.
Both
drivers were transported to Bronson Hospital in Kalamazoo by Coloma Ambulance.
No
indications of alcohol use by either driver were present at the scene and
alcohol is not believed to be a factor.
Investigation continues.

Information:
Sheriff Dale R Gribler Reports that on Saturday
January 9, 2010 at approximately 2:22 pm, Deputies with the Van Buren County
Sheriff’s Office Snowmobile Patrol were dispatched to the trail-head at M-40 and
the Kal Haven Trail in the City of Gobles for a report of a car-snowmobile
accident.
Upon arrival it was determined that a Jeep had struck a
Snowmobile that was attempting to cross M-40 on the Kal Haven Snowmobile Trail.
The Jeep then fled the scene southbound in which the operator of the Jeep was
later located in a business parking lot. The Jeep had sustained major front end
damage. The operator, Alvin Dunn was found to be highly intoxicated. Dunn was
arrested and lodged at the Van Buren County Jail.
The investigation determined that Daniel Parker was
riding the Snowmobile trails with family members and that he stopped at the Stop
Sign crossing for M-40 when Dunn approached Southbound stopping in the road.
Parker believed that Dunn was stopping for him. Parker proceeded to cross when
Dunn began traveling southbound again striking and running over the front engine
area of the Snowmobile. Parker was not injured.
The investigation has been turned over to the Van Buren
County Prosecutors Office.
